My Wonderful sentences

I have been learning how to copy and paste from our class writing flip charts to share our learning. I know how to insert bullet points and use the highlighting tool.

We know that wonderful sentences need:

• detail  (elaboration)
• capital letters and full stops
• Punctuation (, ! ? “ “)
• quality vocab - WOW words

WALT recognise different parts of speech.

• Nouns are naming words. Eg. chair, book, July, Awhi

• Adjectives describe nouns. Eg. wooden chair, writing book, freezing July, lovely Awhi

• Verbs are doing words. Eg run, walk, jump, skip, chew

• Adverbs describe verbs. Eg. briskly running, slowly walking, jumping high, skipping happily and chewing noisily.

EXAMPLES

      

1.The bird is angry. 
2 The bluey-blackish bird is sad and angry.

Tuna Kuwharuharu (Longfin Eel)

This term we have been learning all about the Long Fin Eel.  

Our assembly item was based on the story Velvet and Elvis. This was a story about the migration journey that the longfin eel takes.

I have created 2 different digital  learing objects (DLO) to share my learning on this topic.

I have shared the life cycle of the longfin eel on a google drawing.



I have also shared 5 interesting facts I know on a google doc poster.

Rarangi Matahiko - Our Waitangi Learning Journey

Last Tuesday I got off the bus at Waitangi and whaea Monika  and whaea Kerry greeted us. Next we went into the class but there was an art gallery. It was  pack with whale  paintings. Then we had a glimpse of the class.We had digital technology then we had a korero about eels. After that we had a talk and  had a look at some rocks-achtnt tools 3rd we did some work on scratch we had to put our sprites on scratch and put a sick backdrop. 4th we  went  to the eels I Nelly ford in the bandanna pond I was trendiness  to leve  I  was sleepy  when  I got home I got knock out  in the sleeping  way.

On the amazing holidays I went to the beach with my dad,my step mum and bather as wail. We had heaps of cake   it was dishes .My Favorited  part of the day was the amazing food.
